If you have Kazaa, Grokster, Audiogalaxy, or Morpheus installed, go to Control Panel Software Add > Remove, and Uninstall it.

My computer runs windows 98, it's has a pentium II processor, 30gb hardrive and 64mb of ram, Internet connection is thru Adelphia cable modem, my web browser is Internet Explorer 6.0, I've tried contacting Adelphia (no help at all, says I have to go back to person who built my computer) I tried reinstalling the removed componets (didn't work) I tried re-installing Internet explorer (didn't work) I tried sending a Ping test (computer would not ping) If someone can help It would be greatly appreciated, I'm using a laptop until my desk top computer is repaired but I'm running out of memory fast. Second error message: "Network Error, the support tuner has encountered a network error. error message details "MSBB caused an invalid page default in module MSBB.exe at 0177:00401efl.registers. The error messages I am getting are: "msbb error, this program has performed an illegal operation, if the problem persists" etc. All my programs work I just can't connect to the internet. When I shut down my computer and restarted thats when my Internet problem began. anyway the instructions says to delete all except "dial up adapter" and "tcp/ip" which I thought I did. A list is given of components you should find "Client for MS Networks" "Client for Netware Networks" "Dial up adapter" etc. I followed instructions given on the web site (lesson 30, October 4, 1998) The instructions indicate to open my computer, then open Control Panel, then Network. Basic problem is I can't connect to the Internet at all, The problem started when I tried to remove the login screen from my computer.
